Managing Partner, Global Chief Financial Officer
Zach Michaud brings more than 20 years of investment and financial management experience to Harrison Street Asset Management and serves as a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. As Managing Partner and Global Chief Financial Officer, he leads firmwide strategic execution, overseeing global finance, capital markets, balance sheet management, and strategic partnerships. Zach also leads the firm’s inorganic growth initiatives supporting the continued expansion of HSAM.
Before joining the firm, Zach served as Co-Chief Investment Officer at Colliers, where he managed the company’s global investment team and platform, overseeing strategic investments, direct report businesses, and emerging technology initiatives. Zach was responsible for Colliers Investment Management business during his time at Colliers. Earlier in his career, he was a senior investment professional at one of Canada’s leading private equity firms specializing in credit investing, distressed debt, and operational turnarounds, and began his career in investment banking and trading at major North American financial institutions.
Zach earned an Honors Business Administration degree, with Distinction, from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
