Tyson Skillings

Co-Chief Strategy Officer - Real Estate

Tyson Skillings brings over 28 years of experience in the real estate industry to Harrison Street Asset Management and serves as a member of the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees. As Partner and Co-Chief Strategy Officer – Real Estate, he works to identify and execute growth strategies in real estate. In addition, he shares overall responsibility for the management of Rockwood Capital’s legacy investment vehicles.

Prior to HSAM’s formation, Tyson was a Co-Managing Partner of Rockwood Capital where he set the strategic direction of the firm and oversaw daily operations across functions.  

Prior to joining Rockwood in 2000, Tyson worked at EY Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group.

Tyson received a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. He is an Advisory Board Member of University of Notre Dame’s Fitzgerald Institute for Real Estate and an Executive Committee Board Member for USC Lusk Center and a full member of Urban Land Institute where he is a member of an Industrial Office Council.
