Co-Head of North America Transactions Group
Michael Borchetta brings over 12 years of experience to Harrison Street Asset Management. As a Managing Director and Co-Head of North America Transactions Group, Michael is responsible for key strategic initiatives for the firm involving capital deployment and execution across the firm’s areas of specialty real estate.
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management full time, Michael was one of the participants in the firm’s rotational internship program and currently co-heads the internship program for the Transactions group.
Michael holds a BA from Northwestern University, with a major in Economics, minor in Business Institutions, and a certificate in Energy and Sustainability. He presently serves as an alumni member for the Advisory Committee on Investment Responsibility to Northwestern University’s endowment. He has also completed programs sponsored by the Fulbright Commission and Department of Energy, including the Fulbright UK Summer Institute and the Summer Institute on Sustainability and Energy, respectively.
