Lauren Brabeck brings over 13 years of legal experience to Harrison Street Asset Management. As Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel – Real Estate, she plays a central role in structuring and executing acquisitions, dispositions and related financing matters, and provides strategic legal guidance across the firm’s diversified real estate portfolio, including asset management initiatives. Lauren is a member of the firm’s Capital Markets Committee.
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management, Lauren was an Associate at DLA Piper LLP (US) in Chicago, where she represented institutional investors, public and private real estate companies, REITs, developers, and financial institutions in sophisticated transactions spanning acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, management, and financing across multiple asset classes, including multifamily, healthcare, and commercial properties. She continues to serve as counsel with DLA Piper.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College and a dual JD/MBA from Loyola University Chicago. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois.
