Jonas Hybinette brings more than 25 years of investment experience to Harrison Street Asset Management (HSAM) and serves on the firm’s European Credit Investment Committees. As a Partner, Jonas works closely with the firm’s leadership to articulate the firm’s strategy, support capital formation initiatives and cultivate long-term relationships with global institutional investors. Jonas is also a member of the firm’s Environmental, Social, and Governance Committee.
Prior to the rebranding of RoundShield as HSAM Europe, Jonas was Co-Founder and Partner of RoundShield, which he co-founded in 2013, and where he led sourcing, underwriting and asset management across the platform. Over the following decade, RoundShield evolved into a leading European alternative asset manager investing across asset-backed real estate and private credit in Europe.
Prior to founding RoundShield, Jonas was a Managing Director within the Real Estate team at ESO Capital. Previously, he was a Vice President at Fortress Investment Group in New York, primarily focused on real estate-related credit and special situation equity investments within the Drawbridge Funds.
Jonas began his career at Goldman Sachs in Capital Markets before joining the firm’s Special Situations Group in New York, where he focused on real estate investments.
Jonas graduated with an MScBA from Lund University and also studied at the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a native Swedish speaker.
