Jill Brosig

Chief Innovation Officer

Jill Brosig brings over 16 years of experience to Harrison Street Asset Management. As Global Chief Innovation Officer, Jill leads the firmwide innovation agenda, capturing and advancing ideas across the organization to ensure we continue to differentiate and build for the future.  She works closely with senior leadership in defining and executing the innovation strategy aligned with the Firm’s long-term growth and competitive positioning.  Key areas of focus include AI, new business lines, as well as ESG related topics.  These include creating business intelligence tools and models tailored to investment and operating platforms.

Jill brings a distinctive combination of technical expertise, operational discipline, and strategic leadership. She began her career as a physicist and worked at Motorola as a technologist, where she became a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma. Prior to Harrison Street Asset Management, while at Harrison Street, she built the Firm’s ESG platform into one of the most respected in the industry, including achieving over a 70% reduction in carbon emissions across the portfolio in alignment with fiduciary responsibilities.  Furthermore, she has developed partnerships with leading institutions such as Mayo Clinic, MIT, and Maastricht University.

Jill has also previously held positions at Argonne National Laboratory and KMS Fusion, Inc. Jill holds several patents and publications and was awarded Best Presentation at the annual MOOT CORP® Global Business Plan competition. She is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Jill has a BS in Physics from the University of Illinois, an MSEE from The Ohio State University, and an MBA from Northwestern University.
