Managing Director - Portfolio Management
Ivo De Wit brings over 25 years of real estate and investment experience to Harrison Street Asset Management. As a Managing Director in the Portfolio Management group, Ivo is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, strategic direction, and growth of the firm’s European Core real estate offering.
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management, Ivo was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he was leading the strategic direction and growth of European core-plus real estate offerings. Prior to that he spent 10 years at CBRE Investment Management where he was the Fund Manager for the Global Alpha Fund and member of the executive committee.
Ivo is an Adjunct Professor & Senior Fellow at Columbia Business School. He holds a Ph.D. from Maastricht University and an MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School. Ivo is Co-Founder and Trustee of the City of Opportunities Charity that is funding research about the impact of the built environment on people’s health.
