Co-Head of Asset Management, North America
Gregory Dandrea brings over 18 years of experience to Harrison Street Asset Management. As Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Asset Management – North America, Gregory co-leads the team responsible for overseeing the firm’s US and Canadian portfolio. In that capacity, Gregory focuses on the firm’s alternative residential sectors, including off-campus and on-campus (PPP) student housing, senior housing, and build-to-rent investments. Working closely with the Transactions group, he helps to shape the firm’s investment strategy and reviews the underwriting of all potential investments within the alternative residential sectors, then oversees the team of dedicated asset managers focused on the business plan execution, value creation, and ultimate disposition of those investments.
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management, Gregory was the head of asset management for a Texas-based student housing/multifamily developer and operator, where he led the team responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the firm’s portfolio, refinancing and disposition activity, and all investor communication and reporting. Prior to that, Gregory held a senior asset management position for a real estate private equity firm, where he was the lead asset manager for the firm’s student housing and workforce multifamily investments and the portfolio manager for a discretionary student housing opportunistic fund vehicle.
Gregory holds a BS in Finance from Penn State University.
