Managing Director, Asset Management
Gregory Dandrea brings over 18 years of experience to Harrison Street Asset Management. As Managing Director and Head of Student Housing & Multifamily Asset Management North America, Gregory is responsible for the strategic oversight of the firm’s US and Canadian portfolio of off-campus and on-campus (PPP) student housing, build-to-rent, and multifamily investments spanning the company’s open and closed-end funds. Working closely with the Transactions group, he participates in the underwriting of all potential investments within the sector, then oversees the team of dedicated asset managers focused on the business plan execution and ultimate disposition of those investments.
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management, Gregory was the head of asset management for a Texas-based student housing/multifamily developer and operator, where he led the team responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the firm’s portfolio, refinancing and disposition activity, and all investor communication and reporting. Prior to that, Gregory held a senior asset management position for a real estate private equity firm, where he was the lead asset manager for the firm’s student housing and workforce multifamily investments and the portfolio manager for a discretionary student housing opportunistic fund vehicle.
Gregory holds a BS in Finance from Penn State University.
