Partner, Deputy CIO - European Opportunistic Credit Fund Series
Gareth Fowler brings more than 18 years experience to Harrison Street Asset Management (HSAM), with a focus on investing across private credit and special situations. As Partner and Deputy CIO for the European Opportunistic Credit Fund Series, he oversees investment origination, underwriting, execution and asset management across the platform. Working alongside the CIO, Gareth also provides day-to-day oversight of investment decisions, portfolio construction and risk management.
Prior to the rebranding of RoundShield as HSAM Europe, Gareth was Partner and Deputy CIO at RoundShield. He previously worked at ESO Capital and began his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions team at UBS Investment Bank in New York and London, where he advised on transactions with an aggregate enterprise value of more than US$50 billion across a range of sectors and geographies.
Gareth graduated with a BSc in Economics from the University of York.
