Head of Capital Markets – Real Estate
David Streicher brings more than 29 years of experience to Harrison Street Asset Management and serves as chair of the firm’s Capital Markets Committee and a member of various Investment Committees. As Partner and Head of Capital Markets — Real Estate, he has overall responsibility for the firm’s debt related activities including portfolio and asset-level borrowings, interest rate, leverage management, and lender relationships.
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management, David was a Partner and Head of Capital Markets at Rockwood where he led the firm’s Capital Markets function and served on Investment Committees. Prior to Rockwood, David worked at The Related Companies where he focused on the development, repositioning, and financing of mixed-use properties. Prior to the Related Companies, David was a high yield analyst at Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette.
David received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Rochester and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute where he is a member of the Urban Development/Mixed-Use Council, Real Estate Lenders Association, and other industry organizations. David is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
