Co-Head of Education Transactions – North America
Beau Garot brings over 13 years of experience to Harrison Street Asset Management. As a Managing Director in the Transactions group, Beau co-heads the education investment strategy and assists in the sourcing, analyzing, and closing of transactions and venture relationships within the student housing sector, having been responsible for over $14 billion of student housing transactions.
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management, Beau was an analyst at Duff & Phelps within the Real Estate Services Group performing various valuation services for financial reporting, refinancing, litigation, and mergers & acquisitions. Prior thereto, he interned at Allstate Insurance in the Real Estate Investment Group.
Beau holds a BBA with a double major in Finance, Investment & Banking and Real Estate & Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is an active member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association and active participant in industry conferences.
