Sarah brings 17 years of industry experience to the Firm. As a Managing Director and Controller in the Portfolio Accounting & Reporting group, Sarah is responsible for financial and investor reporting of the firm’s Opportunity Funds. She oversees the preparation of the quarterly and annual consolidated fund reporting to investors, as well as, managing the annual audit and tax process for the funds. In addition, she is responsible for coordinating with joint venture operating partners to obtain and monitor property-level reporting. Sarah also works directly with Portfolio Management to discuss fund liquidity including investor capital calls, distributions, and general fund cash activity.

Prior to joining Harrison Street, she was a Vice President – Portfolio Controller at Pearlmark Real Estate, where she oversaw the accounting, investor relations, and reporting for the Pearlmark equity funds and separate accounts. Previously, Sarah was a Senior Accountant at Kimball Hill Homes, where she was responsible for corporate accounting.

Sarah received her BS in Finance from DePaul University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Illinois. She is also a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
