Chicago, IL, September 24, 2026 – Harrison Street Asset Management (“Harrison Street,” or the “firm”), a leading alternative global investment management firm with $110 billion in assets under management across infrastructure, real estate and credit strategies, announced that it has completed more than $3.6 billion in senior housing transactions year-to-date, underscoring continued institutional investor demand and deep liquidity for premium-quality assets in this sector. The firm has long established itself as a leader in the space, serving as the largest private owner of senior housing in the US and consistently ranked among the nation’s five largest owners. 

Across its senior housing platform, Harrison Street leverages its scale and expertise across acquisitions, developments and dispositions, having invested $16 billion across 46,000 units since inception. To date, the firm has successfully completed the sale of eighteen properties across nine states with a combined gross sale price of more than $1.3 billion. The firm has also closed or is in the process of closing $2.3 billion in senior housing acquisitions or new development projects so far this year. The transactions are largely supported by durable demographic trends, strong operating fundamentals and attractive long-term demand drivers across the sector.
