PERE is a leading publication for the world’s private real estate markets. From 2020 – 2023, its annual awards were determined by industry participants through a highly controlled voting system. In 2024, PERE changed from a public voting system to awards being determined by PERE editors. 2024 PERE Awards were awarded in March 2025 for the 2024 calendar year. HSTA paid no fees to participate in the award process.

Pensions & Investments Best Places to Woraward is a two-part assessment designed to gather detailed data about each participating company that includes a questionnaire completed by the employer and a satisfaction survey completed by company employees.  The Pensions & Investments Best Places to Work award for 2024 was presented in December for the 2024 calendar year, and the other awards were based on each calendar year noted. Harrison Street paid no fee in exchange for the award, but all applicants paid a submission fee.  Additional information is available at pibestplacestowork.com.

Private Equity Wire US Awards – Best Real Estate Manager (fund size above 1BN) was presented October 2021 for net IRRs at the end of 2020, based and analyzed on five vintages of funds – 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Harrison Street did not pay a fee to participate in the mentioned awards processes.  Voting for the eventual winners is then conducted via an extensive online poll of Private Equity Wire readership over a period of several weeks. Fitwel is a certification system administered by the Center for Active Design CfAD that promotes health and wellness for occupants of real estate assets. CfAD’s annual Best in Building Health awards honor those firms who meet and exceed Fitwel’s certification standards, but also recognizes exceptional leadership and progress in the industry. The awards and recognitions reviewed in 2025 are for calendar year 2024. Harrison Street did not pay any compensation in exchange for the aforementioned awards and recognitions, but certification and registration fees are assessed for projects seeking aFitwel score/certification.” 

Pensions & Investments (“P&I”). P&I ranked largest real estate investment managers by total worldwide real estate assets, in millions, as of June 30, 2020. Assets are reported net of leverage, including contributions committed or received, but not yet invested; REOCs are included with equity; REIT securities are excluded.

Pension and Real Estate Association (“PREA”). Pension and Real Estate Association (“PREA”) ESG Awards recognize PREA members who are at the forefront of ESG within real estate investing. Recipients submitted for the ESG award, and winners are chosen by a panel of anonymous voters. The award was received in March 2023 for calendar year 2022. Harrison Street paid no fee in exchange for the award. 

The Korean Investor. Best Asset Managers by Korean Investors is an award created by The Korea Economic Daily Global Edition, one of the subsidiaries of The Korea Economic Daily, and a premium business news provider. Its annual awards are determined by a comprehensive survey of select asset owners in Korea. The award is for the 2024 calendar year. HSTA did not provide compensation in connection with the award.
