Partner, Deputy CIO - European Private Debt Fund
Max Leeb brings more than 15 years of experience to Harrison Street Asset Management (HSAM). As Partner and Deputy CIO for the European Private Debt Fund, Max is responsible for overseeing investment origination, underwriting, execution and asset management across the platform. Working alongside the CIO he provides day-to-day oversight of investment decisions and portfolio construction.
Prior to the rebranding of RoundShield as HSAM Europe, Max served as Partner and Deputy CIO at RoundShield where he played a key role in expanding the firm’s presence across the German-speaking markets and the Netherlands, helping establish the firm as a trusted and active lender in the European mid-market real estate sector.
Prior to RoundShield, Max was an Associate at UBS Investment Bank in London, where he worked across a number of teams including Mergers & Acquisitions, Debt Capital Markets and Derivatives.
Max graduated with an MEng in Engineering, Economics and Management from the University of Oxford and is a native German speaker.
