Managing Director - Transactions
Matthew Friedman brings more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry to Harrison Street Asset Management and serves as Managing Director in the Transactions group. Matthew focuses on West Coast transactions and asset management across property sectors.
Prior to joining Rockwood in 2009, Matthew was an Associate at Eastdil Secured, a real estate investment bank, focusing on institutional investment sales with a primary focus on office, residential, and retail properties. Prior to Eastdil Secured, he was a Consultant at Bates White, an economic/litigation consulting firm.
Matthew received a Bachelor of Science in Economics, summa cum laude, from Duke University. Friedman is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
