Tyson Skillings brings more than 28 years of real estate industry experience to Harrison Street Asset Management and serves as Partner and Co-Chief Strategy Officer – Real Estate. He is also a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. In his role, Tyson leads business and real estate investment strategy across the platform, focusing on expanding HSAM’s capabilities and advancing new investment products and strategic initiatives. He continues to oversee the execution of Rockwood’s existing investment vehicles while helping to drive innovation and growth across real estate and credit.
Prior to joining Rockwood Capital in 2000, Tyson worked at EY Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group, where he advised clients on valuation, development, and financial structuring for complex real estate transactions.
Tyson earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. He serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Notre Dame’s Fitzgerald Institute for Real Estate, the Executive Committee Board of the USC Lusk Center, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Industrial Office Council.
