Justin Gronlie brings over 20 years of Student Housing experience to Harrison Street Asset Management. As a Managing Director in the Transactions group, Justin co-heads the education investment strategy. In this role he implements the firm’s investment strategy in university markets throughout the US, both off-campus and directly with university’s through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management, Mr. Gronlie was an Assistant Vice President at Citizens Bank. He was responsible for underwriting and serving as portfolio manager for all student housing loans nationally. Mr. Gronlie started his career on the transactions team at GMH Communities trust. He remained in this role through GMH’s merger with American Campus Communities, assisting in the closing of the transaction and directly overseeing the disposition of 12 essential wind-down assets.
Justin holds a BBA in Finance from James Madison University.
