Managing Director - Corporate Accounting
Andrew Denekas brings over 27 years of experience to the firm. As a Managing Director in the Corporate Accounting group, Andy is responsible for all US and UK financial accounting, budgeting and forecasting of the firm’s operations. Prior to his role as the Director of Corporate Accounting, he served as the Director of Investor Accounting and Reporting for the firm and oversaw the initial implementation of the accounting and reporting processes for the firm’s Closed-End and Core Funds.
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management, Andy was the Vice President of Portfolio Accounting at Capri Capital Advisors, where he oversaw the accounting and treasury functions for real estate and mezzanine loan investment portfolios, primarily reporting to institutional investors. Andy began his career as a staff accountant at Deloitte & Touche, working on clients in the financial and manufacturing industries.
Andy received a BA in Mathematics from Dartmouth College and a dual MS in Accountancy / MBA from Northeastern University.
