Head of Healthcare, Asset Management
Zach Kranz brings over 15 years of real estate industry experience to Harrison Street Asset Management. As Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Asset Management North America, Zach is responsible for the strategic oversight of the firm’s U.S. and Canadian healthcare portfolio, including medical office and other healthcare investments spanning the company’s open- and closed-end vehicles. Working closely with the Transactions group, Zach participates in the underwriting and evaluation of investment opportunities within the sector and manages operating partner relationships across multiple markets and healthcare product types. He oversees a team of dedicated asset managers focused on the execution of business plans, value creation initiatives, and the ultimate disposition of investments across the portfolio.
Prior to joining Harrison Street Asset Management, Zach was an analyst at Duff & Phelps in the Real Estate Services Group, where he provided valuation services for financial reporting, refinancing, litigation, and M&A purposes.
Zach holds a BBA with a double major in Finance, Investment & Banking and Real Estate & Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is a member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.
