Managing Director, Head of Private Wealth Distribution
Chip Saltz brings more than 25 years of financial services and distribution leadership experience to Harrison Street Asset Management, where he serves as Managing Director and Head of Private Wealth Distribution. In this role, he leads the firm’s sales and distribution strategy, overseeing advisor engagement, platform partnerships, and national account relationships to expand access to the firm’s alternative investment solutions for private investors.
Before joining Harrison Street Asset Management, Chip served as Managing Director at Starwood Capital Group, where he built and led a team that grew sales from inception to $15 billion in four years, achieving one of the largest market shares in the perpetual non-traded REIT sector. His earlier experience includes senior roles at W.P. Carey, SunAmerica, John Hancock Funds, and John Hancock Distributors.
Chip holds an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and a B.B.A. from Loyola University New Orleans. He is a Certified Financial Planner candidate and holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 24, and 65 licenses.
